Senior Vice President of Production

Kevin Hoyt, a seasoned mortgage executive, joined Mason-McDuffie Mortgage in January as senior vice president, production.

Most recently, Mr. Hoyt served as Western Regional vice president of the Real Estate Mortgage Network. He will work out of the home office in San Ramon.

Prior to the Real Estate Mortgage Network, he served as a regional manager and executive vice president with Prime Lending and CTX Mortgage, respectively. He’s run multi-state operations since the early 1980s.

He worked with AmeriStar Financial for 13 years, including serving as president of the company. When Lennar Homes expanded to the West Coast from its Florida roots, he opened all of its mortgage branches across the country.

Mr. Hoyt has been married for 36 years to his college sweetheart and they have three grown children. He attended Idaho State University on a basketball scholarship.

In his spare time, he has been serving homeless people in the downtown San Diego area.
