Steve Swantkowski has been named employee of the month

SAN RAMON—Steve Swantkowski, a manager in Mason-McDuffie’s Mortgage Corp.’s support operation, has been named employee of the month.

Swantkowski, the lock desk and secondary marketing desk manager, converted to a new software program for loan pricing and did so without any downtime during the work week. That allowed loan officers to continue to work with their clients and obtain current pricing.

He also trained a new employee and oversaw his department as it successfully handled double the volume of previous months. That’s a result of the firm’s national expansion program as it grows its footprint both in California and across the country.
