Brian Moggan has been appointed senior vice president of production

SAN RAMON— Brian Moggan, manager of the Oakland branch for the last 15 months, has been appointed senior vice president of production, Mason-McDuffie CEO Marilyn Richardson announced this week.

Moggan is one of five senior vice-presidents charged with leading Mason-McDuffie’s national expansion. For the last year, the firm has pursued an aggressive plan to add branches in key markets from coast-to-coast as well as growing its California footprint.

“Brian has grown both our revenues and our team members in the Oakland branch as well as opening a second branch in Berkeley,” said Richardson. “We are pleased to promote one of our outstanding managers into this key role.”

“I am excited to join the senior management team during this exciting expansion time,” said Moggan. “We have the opportunity to recruit very successful loan officers who will find Mason-McDuffie’s commitment to service will help them continue to grow their business.”

Moggan, who was born in Ireland, joined Mason-McDuffie Mortgage in March in

2011. Previously, he worked for Mortgage Services Professionals, Met Life Home Loans and Princeton Capital. He has 12 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services business.

Brian lives in Walnut Creek with his wife Anne-Marie and their 3 children.
